Here are the spelling lists for the 2007-2008 school year along with the dates for when the students will be tested over each list.  We do a practice spelling test on Thursday each week and the real spelling test (which is a part of our weekly Phonics test) is on Friday.

If we ever have to miss school unexpectedly on a Friday due to bad weather, students should be prepared to take the phonics/spelling test on Monday or the first day we return to school.

*Denotes a sight word.  A sight word is a word that cannot be sounded out using the phonics rules we've learned at this time but must be memorized instead.
