The National Junior Beta Club of Cape Christian School has 18 students in grades 6-8 who are a part of the club this year. All Beta Club students must maintain a 3.6 grade point average. Also, each student is required complete three hours of community service.

    We have completed 3 group service projects so far this year. In November, we delivered 2,919 cans to the Fish Food Pantry! The eighth grade class brought the most cans per person and were awarded a fabulous ice cream party.

    In December, we delivered 124 toys for the annual Toy Box collection sponsored by the Southeast Missourian.

    On April 10,The Junior Beta Club sponsored our third annual Red Cross Blood Drive. This year the American Red Cross Blood Drive helped several people because 20 individuals donated their time (and blood) for others!

    Students who choose to complete 20 or more service hours will be recognized at the end-of-the-year junior high awards banquet.

    Mrs. Goodman and Mrs. Diamond, two CCS teachers, are the sponsors of Beta Club.
