THIRD GRADE'S FIELD TRIP TO CAPAHA BANK
On February 27, we took a field trip to Capaha Bank. We had a wonderful time being shown around the inside of the bank. Ms. Jeanne Camden and Mr. Lee Schlitt were very helpful in showing us how the ATM machines work, how to deposit and withdraw money from a checking account, and how a drive up transaction works (we loved watching the little tube go up through the pipe!). We enjoyed looking at the vault (it was a lot smaller than we thought it would be) and the safety deposit boxes. We learned that every safe requires two passwords or two keys. I think the children were most impressed with the big screen tvs!
