In science, the students are introduced to the wonders of the five senses, classifying animals, and basic weather information. All the students will be making science animal notebooks to use the information they have learned regarding the classification of animals.
We have done some science experiments to go along with our study of the five senses. We made "sightless sandwiches" which reminded us to be thankful for our sense of sight! We made tin can telephones to work on our sense of hearing, and we used hair pins to see if our finger tips or arms were more sensitive to touch. Check out our pictures of the tin can telephones!
