BUBBLE GUM DAY AND GUMDROP DAY!!
Bubble Gum Day was on Friday, February 1 but we were out of school because of bad weather so we enjoyed Bubble Gum Day on Monday, February 4! We voted for our favorite flavor of chewing gum between mint, fruit, and cinnamon-Juicy Fruit won! We also blew bubbles to see which gum we thought blew the best bubbles, had a contest to see who could blow the most bubbles in a minute, and who could blow the biggest bubble! We all had great fun chewing gum all day! Some of us also put up to 7 pieces of bubble gum in our mouth at once! Our jaws were really sore the next day but we had lots of fun!
GUMDROP DAY!
Friday, February 15th was National Gumdrop Day! We used gumdrops and toothpicks in art to create many fascinating things from ladybugs, to tractors, to the Tower of Babble! Some of the children worked by themselves, some worked together in a group, and some were even fortunate enough to have their dad's help out!!
