Dear Students and families~

January’s oral report topic is going to be…”How to…”.  Be prepared to tell the class how to make something, draw something or do something.  If you have a favorite hobby, you can share that with the class and tell us how to get started in that hobby.  Bring in enough materials for each child in the class (15) to be able to make your completed project (if appropriate).  Be creative with this and have fun!  Some possible topics could include:  how to make paper airplanes, how to decorate a cake (could bring in cupcakes and frosting for everyone), how to braid your hair, how to write a letter, how to play soccer, etc.  Please let me know your top three topics (just in case someone else has the same thing in mind to do) as soon as possible to prevent any duplicate reports.  Use this as a time to teach your friends (and teacher!) how to do something special!  Due to the discrimination unit being done the week of January 14th, no reports will be scheduled for the 14th-18th.  Make sure to check for your correct date!

In His Everlasting Grip,

Monica Parsons
